KeyStack ("the Extension") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data the Extension accesses, how it is used, and your rights.

1. Data We Collect

We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data.

The Extension operates entirely within your browser. No information is sent to any external server, analytics service, or third party.

2. How the Extension Works

When you visit an Amazon product page and open the KeyStack panel, the Extension:

Reads the visible text content of the current product page (title, bullet points, description, A+ content, and specifications).
Processes that text locally in your browser to extract keywords and product information.
Displays the results in the side panel within your browser.

All processing happens locally on your device. No page content, keywords, or product data ever leaves your browser.

3. Permissions Explained

activeTab — Allows the Extension to read content on the current Amazon tab when you activate it. It cannot access other tabs or websites.
tabs — Used to detect navigation between Amazon product pages (SPA navigation) so the Extension can update when you browse to a new product.
storage — Used to store your local preferences (e.g., UI state) within Chrome's extension storage. This data stays on your device and is never transmitted.

4. Third-Party Services

The Extension does not use any third-party services, analytics, tracking scripts, cookies, or external APIs.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or transfer any data to third parties. There is no data to share because no data is collected.

6. Data Storage

Any data stored by the Extension (such as UI preferences) is kept locally in Chrome's extension storage on your device. You can clear this data at any time by removing the Extension.

7. Children's Privacy

The Extension does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under the age of 13.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
